Galerie Philippe Decorde

Founded in June 1993 Galerie Philippe Decorde initially operated under the name Galerie Rendez-vous. It primarily collaborated with about fifteen artists. The gallery significantly contributed to Strasbourg’s vibrant art scene. It organized cultural events exhibitions and gatherings. In 2000 it moved to Place d’Austerlitz. It remained there until 2017. Then it adopted the name Galerie Decorde. It relocated to Place Hans Arp. G M Kahn a co-founder joined the gallery at this location. Hippolyte Decorde joined the team in 2017 bringing renewed energy. Today the gallery showcases around thirty artists. It features about half of them regularly. It programs approximately ten exhibitions annually. Galerie Philippe Decorde is more than just a gallery.
