Getting here is easy. Free parking awaits during services and Reading Room hours. The garage sits at the corner of 16th and I Streets. After turning onto I Street, turn right into the garage next to Il Piatto. The official location is 900 16th Street NW.
Interestingly, Third Church of Christ, Scientist merged with First Church in 2015. Third Church once stood at 16th and I Street NW. It was known for its brutalist architecture. But the congregation found it unsuitable. It was demolished in 2014. Now First Church meets in a portion of the building that replaced Third Church. This is behind a mirrored glass entrance.
