Ever wonder how a humble prayer group can blossom into a vibrant international church? Faith International Church began as just that. It started as a small prayer group in April 2005. Pastor Donald Nathaniel Lynch provided leadership.
In August 2006, Faith International Church found a location. It was at the Foxmoor Village Mall in East Stroudsburg, PA. The church grew steadily. More people devoted themselves to Christ. They committed to Faith International Church. It became known as a solid Bible-based teaching church.
The untimely passing of Pastor Donald N. Lynch occurred on August 14th, 2016. His wife, Pastor Terry Lynch, then took over the leadership. She has proven to be a dynamic woman of God. She not only preaches but also teaches.
As of May 2023, the legacy of Faith International Church shifted. The vision and promise were placed into the hands of Pastor Marlon Calder and First Lady Tiffany Calder. Both had served in leadership roles for years. They helped the church strengthen and grow. It became the beautiful community it is today.
Faith International Church’s mission is clear. It aims to lead the lost to Christ. It wants people to radically devote themselves to the Word of God. As an Acts 2 church, they are on a mission. They strive to fulfill the Great Commission. They seek to save souls using the Word of God. Prayer and evangelism are central. They inspire and nurture spiritual growth. The church reaches out to the lost. It brings about a vibrant community. One person and one family at a time is their focus.
The core values of Faith International Church are rooted in the Bible. They believe it is God’s unique revelation to people. It is the inspired Word of God. It is the supreme authority on all matters it teaches. They believe in one God. He is the creator of heaven and earth. He exists eternally as three persons. Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are each fully God. Yet each is personally distinct.
Apart from Jesus Christ, people are spiritually lost. Because of sin, they deserve God’s judgment. However, God offers salvation and eternal life. This is for anyone who trusts in Jesus Christ. It is through His sacrifice. Salvation cannot be earned. It is not through personal goodness or human effort. It is a gift. It must be received by humble repentance. Faith in Christ and His finished work is essential.
All believers are members of the body of Christ. It is the one true church universal. Spiritual unity is expressed among Christians. This is done through acceptance and love. It transcends ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic lines. It includes national, generational, gender, and denominational differences.
The local church is a congregation of believers. They gather for worship and prayer. They seek instruction and encouragement. Mutual accountability is practiced. They build community with each other. Through it, believers invest time and energy. Resources are used to fulfill the Great Commission. They reach lost people. They grow them into fully devoted Christ followers.
Faith International Church also hosts special events. F.I.C.’s “Fire Night” service is hosted by ministers. It takes place every second and fourth Friday evening at 7:30 PM. This event is exclusively available via Zoom.
