Why does Faith Church stand here today a testament to faith’s enduring power? Faith Church began its journey humbly. Once known as Emmanuel Faith Centre it held its first service December 19 1982. Twelve people gathered in a building on Jane Street near Lawrence Avenue in Toronto. The church quickly outgrew its space.

In December 1986 it changed its name to Word of Life Church in Toronto. It relocated to a building on Greensboro Drive. After five years it moved again in June 1991. This time Faith Church found a home in a church building on Weston Road.

January 1995 marked another change. The church became Bible Faith Church of Toronto. It identified as a non-denominational Full-Gospel Church. The congregation felt a calling to invest in a permanent home. In March 1999 Faith Church moved to its current location at 326 Rexdale Blvd. The property spans one acre in Toronto’s northwest end. The church owns this space.

Faith Church experienced growth in its early years. It grew not only in numbers but also in character. The congregation shares a deep love for God. They are devoted to His Word and His Spirit. They love one another fervently.

The church expanded its reach beyond Toronto. In 2013 the Lord led them to Durham. There they started a second church now named Bible Faith Church of Durham. Weekly services were held.

Bible Faith Church of Durham first met on McPherson Court in South Pickering. In December 2018 the congregation purchased its own property. They moved to a historic church at 2430 6th Concession Road in North Pickering. The building is over 80 years old and they planned to restore this building.

The church’s growth continued. December 2019 brought a third campus in the Niagara region. This church is named Bible Faith Church of Niagara. It is located at 4865 St. Lawrence Avenue in Niagara Falls.

Faith Church’s journey reflects dedication and expansion. It started with twelve people. It now encompasses three campuses across the Greater Toronto Area and Niagara. The church’s history demonstrates its commitment to community. It shows its unwavering faith in God.

Faith Church continues to grow. It evolves to meet the needs of its diverse congregation. Its story is a testament to faith’s power. It shows the importance of community and the enduring strength of belief. Remember the humble beginnings and the expansive vision as you pass Faith Church. It all began with twelve people. Now it is a multi-campus church.
