Faculdade Nossa Cidade or FNC was chartered by MEC decree number 491 on February 10 2006. Its origins are intertwined with the Centro Educacional Nossa Cidade. The first campus opened its doors in Vila Dirce that same year.
In August 2008 Faculdade Nossa Cidade expanded opening a new campus. This campus was on the Carapicuíba’s Calçadão. It featured modern computer equipment and facilities. It provided quality higher education to local residents. Its location near bus and train terminals made it easily accessible.
The maintaining organization of FNC invested heavily in constructing its own campus to provide top-notch higher education. The first of seven buildings opened on August 6 2010 on a 20000 m2 area in downtown Carapicuíba.
Faculdade Nossa Cidade inaugurated the second block in August 2011. It added 37 classrooms. This provided a more comprehensive learning environment for the academic community.
Even in its initial phase the new FNC campus boasted a sports area. This included a sports complex with a pool and courts. There were also 68 classrooms. There were labs for Health Information Technology Education Administration and Civil Engineering. Not to mention a food court a bookstore and a complete library.
Currently Faculdade Nossa Cidade offers both undergraduate and postgraduate courses. These programs include Administration Accounting Law Physical Education and Nursing. Also available are Civil Engineering Pharmacy and Education.
FNC’s Avenida Inocêncio Seráfico campus in Vila Dirce offers a wide array of courses. These include Business Administration Accounting Law and Physical Education. You can also study Nursing Civil Engineering and Pharmacy. There is also Environmental Management and Information Technology Management. Human Resources Management is another option.
