Exciting Idlewild Baptist Church offers courses. These courses are part of ‘the Institute at Idlewild’. This is a series of courses for members. They help members grow.
Wednesday nights are special at Exciting Idlewild Baptist Church. They feature fixed-duration fellowship courses. These courses equip and develop disciple makers. The courses change each semester. They fall into four tracks. These are Christian Theology. Also Christian Formation. Christian Living is another. Great Commission studies is the last.
Specific focuses are biblical parenting. Also faithfully strengthening your marriage. Wednesday night worship always happens. So does bible study. These are in the Worship center.
Registration is open for the Winter Semester of 2025. Details for the next semester are coming. Schedules are being finalized. Courses are too. Instructors are also being decided. The information will be announced. It will be announced once finalized.

Exciting Idlewild Baptist Church had an Angel Tree event in 2021. Volunteers made it amazing. One hundred twenty-one reports came back. The Gospel was shared 37 times. Nine people decided for Christ. Fifteen families professed to be Christians.
People should pray for these families. They should minister to their needs. They should pray those who decided for Christ will find a church home. These families suffer in many ways.
The IBC Women’s Ministry has a blog. It speaks of hard realities. Only God is our refuge. Psalm 55 is a comfort. There are enemies within His community.
A confidant can be bent on doing evil. They can pose as a warrior for Christian virtue. Abuse in the Body is complex. Details can be horrific. Excuses are made. Everyone is a sinner. People feel helpless. The church can seem silent.
Headlines include stories of abuse. There is frustration that only evil gets covered. Many in churches purpose to help. They set up food pantries. They create benevolence funds. They volunteer in schools. They teach. They foster. They care. People pray for godly people. They pray for accountability. They pray for safety. They pray for deliverance.
Sometimes the reality of evil is shared. People cannot back away. They cannot be shocked. In God’s kingdom, we act for the powerless. Jesus asks us to care. He wants us to disciple.
