Political dynamics led to another name change in 1962. Dr. Kwame Nkrumah the then President of Ghana ruled that the church adopted a new name. Thus, the Church of Pentecost came into being.
The Emmanuel Church of Pentecost grew through missionary work. It built relationships with other Pentecostal churches. It blossomed into a worldwide movement. Imagine congregations in over 21802 local assemblies across 2898 districts.
