“Did anyone bring their dancing shoes?” joked a voice from the tour group. Laughter rippled through the crowd. We were standing right in front of El Cenaculo, and from the outside, it certainly didn’t scream “salsa club.” But appearances can be deceiving. El Cenaculo is actually a vibrant Evangelical Church in the heart of Tegucigalpa. Don’t let the modern exterior fool you. This church is steeped in the rich religious heritage of Honduras.
