DeMatha’s beginnings were humble. Only 18 students enrolled that first year. Yet the school quickly flourished. The Trinitarian Order founded DeMatha. They have won over 200 championships since 1969. Sports Illustrated even ranked DeMatha as one of the top two high school athletic programs in the United States.
