Reverend Su agreed to compose the song. Dr. Lau Wing Sang wrote the lyrics. Together, they revised the song multiple times. They completed it in July 2001. The song reflects the school’s values.

CNEC Lau Wing Sang Secondary School celebrated its 25th anniversary. The school marked the occasion with a Thanksgiving Banquet. It also held a Thanksgiving Service. A School History Museum was opened. The museum is also known as Dr. Lau Bao Yee Learning Center. An open day allowed the public to see the school.

The school offers various activities. These include the Germany-Hong Kong Youth Exchange. There was also an RTHK Workshop on interviewing skills. These events enrich student life.
