Gazing upon the Church of St.Martin of Tours, a subtle melody drifts from within. It’s a hint of the sonic transformation this sanctuary underwent. The Church of St.Martin of Tours, nestled within the Hoc Mon diocese of Ho Chi Minh City, has a history as rich as the sound now emanating from its walls. Founded in 1954, this parish church has served a growing congregation, now numbering over 6,000. Imagine the echoes of prayers over the decades, rising to the vaulted ceiling. With each year, the need for a more powerful sound system became evident. A thousand voices joining in prayer deserved to be heard clearly. With the blessing of the Bishop and the parish pastoral council, a solution was sought. A technician named Mr. Duc Dinh from Duc ProAudio stepped forward. He introduced a groundbreaking audio system to the Church of St.Martin of Tours, a system featuring Martin Audio CDD10W loudspeakers. This marked the first installation of its kind in a Vietnamese parish church. The church’s architecture, wide and long with a vaulted ceiling, posed a unique challenge. Twelve CDD10W loudspeakers were strategically placed along the walls, accompanied by two more serving as monitors near the altar. All powered by Martin Audio MA5.0Q amplifiers and DX0.5 dedicated signal processors. This innovative system ensures that every corner of the Church of St.Martin of Tours is filled with clear, evenly distributed sound. The clergy, the Bishop, and every member of the congregation can now hear the services perfectly, a testament to the church’s commitment to both tradition and progress.
