Before 2007 there were two schools. One was the Christian Alliance H.C. Chan Primary School. The other was the T.S.A. Wong Tat To Memorial School. The Christian Alliance H.C. Chan Primary School was originally the afternoon school of Christian Alliance H.C. Chan Primary School. It was founded in 1984. The T.S.A. Wong Tat To Memorial School was established in 1996.
T.S.A. Wong Tat To Memorial School faced challenges. It struggled with student enrollment. In 2006 it was ordered to cease admitting Primary One students. A special appeal was unsuccessful. But a solution emerged.
The Christian Alliance H.C. Chan Primary School and T.S.A. Wong Tat To Memorial School merged. This “school-saving” merger took place in 2007. The merged school used the campus of the original Wong Tat To Memorial School. The Kowloon Tong Church of The Chinese Christian and Missionary Alliance took over the school’s operation.
Today Christian Alliance Toi Shan H C Chan Primary School stands as a testament to perseverance. It is a place where students learn in a modern environment. The school has thirty classrooms. These rooms are equipped with computers and televisions.
