“Devoted followers of Jesus Christ!” That’s what Christ Mission Church strives to develop. Christ Mission Church exists to glorify God. It seeks to bring people into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. This includes military personnel and their families.
Christ Mission Church builds them up in the truth and love of the Lord. The church equips them to live for Christ. This applies to their personal lives and among fellow Christians. It also extends to their actions in the world.
Christ’s Mission Church is dedicated to Bible truths. There is one God. He reveals Himself in three persons. These are the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. God is the creator of all things, both seen and unseen.
God the Son existed with God the Father from eternity. He came to earth and took on flesh. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit in the Virgin Mary’s womb. At birth, he was named Jesus the Christ.
Jesus was God as man. He lived a perfect life without sin. He was crucified on the cross as a sacrifice for our sins. He rose from the dead on the third day. Forty days later, he ascended to heaven. He reigns with the Father once again.
After God the Son ascended to heaven, the Holy Spirit came to earth. He lives in the hearts of every Christian. He convicts the world of sin. He leads, comforts, and empowers Christians to live a godly life.
The Bible is the inspired Word of God. It is the final authority on matters of faith and life. Man was created by God. He willingly sinned against God. Therefore, he is lost and without hope apart from Jesus Christ.
Man is saved by God’s grace through the blood of Jesus Christ. The Bible shows us how God wants us to accept His grace. A person must hear the gospel message of Jesus Christ. He must believe in who Jesus is and what He has done.
He must be willing to confess Jesus as Lord and Savior at all times. He must repent and turn from his sins. And he must be immersed in water into Jesus Christ.
The church is the body and bride of Christ. It was founded on the day of Pentecost. It consists of Christians everywhere. A plurality of evangelists and elders lead the local church.
Death seals the eternal destiny of every person. Those who have been saved will inherit eternal life. Those who have not been saved will spend eternity in hell separated from God. Jesus Christ will physically and visibly return someday. He will take His bride to heaven.
Christ Mission Church’s purpose is clear. It aims to develop devoted followers of Jesus Christ. They live their lives according to biblical truths. They strive to glorify God in all they do.
