Opened in 1973 Chantilly High School stands proudly. It’s a testament to Fairfax County’s commitment to education. This wasn’t always the case though. The original building featured open classrooms. A design choice that proved less than ideal. These weren’t fully removed until the 1990s.

From culinary arts to firefighting there are many options. The Academy’s robotics team also competes in FIRST Robotics Competition.

Chantilly High School is also academically successful. Its graduation rate is 98%. In 2018-2019 it ranked in the top 5% of Virginia high schools. A significant number of students score 3 or higher on their AP exams. This success speaks volumes about the dedication of the staff and students.
