This honor recognized his dedication to educating others in the Gospel Ministry. Following Dr. Moore, Rev. John H. Parker became the pastor of the Central Baptist Church of Camp Springs in 1988. The current pastor, Rev. Anthony Burruss, has a deep history with the church. He became a licensed minister in 1991 and was ordained in 1998. He served as Assistant Pastor before being elected as Pastor in 2012. The Central Baptist Church of Camp Springs is more than just a place of worship.
