Lowes Island itself is noteworthy. It centers around Trump National Golf Club Washington DC formerly Lowes Island Country Club. The community’s name is a nod to the Potomac River. It even abuts the Potomac River. The Potomack Lake Sportsplex sits right next to this park and is also part of the Cascades CDP.
