The Chapel Sydney a thriving church in Chatswood heard God’s call. They sensed a need in the Inner West. They sought to expand their ministry. This led them to the Burwood Church of Christ building. The Chapel Sydney took over the building. They renovated it. They transformed it into a vibrant community hub. The Burwood Gospel Chapel as it’s now known isn’t just a place of worship. It’s a space for everyone. It hosts community groups events and of course regular services.
The transition wasn’t without its challenges. Lockdowns and restrictions slowed things down. Yet the vision remained unwavering. The long-term goal is clear.
