Bůhzdař first appeared in historical records in 1602. Imagine stepping back in time, to a simpler era. Bůhzdař, even today, retains its tranquil charm. In 2011, a mere thirteen souls called Bůhzdař home. A testament to its intimate size, only eight houses dotted the landscape in that same year. The village occupies a modest area, a mere 0.168 square kilometers. This compact size enhances the close-knit community feel of Bůhzdař. A unique feature of Bůhzdař is an abandoned clay pit near what was once a bustling brickyard. This pit unveils a glimpse into the distant past, exposing Pleistocene deposits from the Würm glacial period. Bůhzdař, though small, offers a unique window into both geological and Czech history.
