After the 7/7 London bombings in 2005, the United States Army Band played “God Save the Queen” outside the embassy. It was a moving tribute to the victims. The embassy also opened a condolence book after Queen Elizabeth II’s death in 2022. President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden were among the first to sign it.
