In 1928 a group of about 80 people left Runnymede Baptist Church. They wanted to form their own congregation. They called it Farmer Memorial Baptist Church. For a while they worshipped in the Runnymede Bowling clubhouse. This humble beginning is a testament to the church’s strong roots in the community.
