Bishop Paschang Catholic School began as Bishop Paschang Memorial School in 1969. The Maryknoll Fathers founded it in Lower Ngau Tau Kok Estate. John M. McLoughlin named it after Maryknoller Adolph John Paschang. Adolph John Paschang was a bishop who served in Jiangmen. He was also a relief worker in southern China.

Originally the school had a morning and an afternoon section. The first Primary 6 graduation for the morning section was in 1971. The evening section celebrated its first Primary 6 graduation in 1972.

In 2002 the morning section of Bishop Paschang Memorial School relocated. It moved to a new campus in Kowloon Bay. The school became a full-day school. It was renamed Bishop Paschang Catholic School. The new campus was next to Richland Gardens. It faced Kai Yip Estate. The Architectural Services Department designed the Y2K campus.

The afternoon section remained in Ngau Tau Kok. It also became a full-day school. In 2008 all remaining classes moved to Kowloon Bay. Bishop Paschang Memorial School closed its Ngau Tau Kok campus. The campus was returned to the government. It was later demolished with the rest of the estate.

Bishop Paschang Catholic School is government-aided. It adopted small class teaching. In 2010 the school enrolled five primary one classes. Each year they had 125 pupils. Most students came from nearby families. By 2011 the school had about 800 pupils.

Many graduates have become successful. They are now doctors lawyers and accountants. Some are pharmacists professors or teachers. Others are athletes actors or administrative officers. Some are even engineers.

The school emphasizes both Chinese and English. They promote English reading to improve language skills. From P1 to P3 all Chinese lessons are taught in Mandarin.

Bishop Paschang Catholic School has a Parent-Teacher Association founded in 1999. The Alumni Association was founded in 2007. These groups help with activities and scholarships.

The school song was composed by Huang You Di. He was a Taiwanese classical music composer. Lee Shi Shou wrote the lyrics. He was the father of a former headmaster.

Several notable people attended Bishop Paschang Catholic School. Ho Ka Lai was a Hong Kong fencing team member. Poon Man Tik was a Hong Kong soccer team member. Myolie Wu is a Hong Kong TV actress. Lee Wai-sze is a Hong Kong cycling team member.
