Wow a giant motorbike. That’s the Big Motorcycle in Mooball.
This isn’t just any motorbike. It’s a colossal replica of Wayne Rainey’s 1992 championship-winning Yamaha YZR500. Three times the size of the original it stands proudly near the Moo Moo Roadhouse.
Owner Mark Murnane is thrilled with his Big Thing. He told a reporter it toured in 1993 before residing at a Sydney Ducati store. Then it went to a Queensland museum.
Initially it sported Marlboro sponsorship. However regulations forced the removal of the cigarette branding. Now it displays a Moo Moo Roadhouse sign.
You can’t ride this Big Motorcycle. That’s probably a good thing. But you can take a memorable selfie. Many bikers and tourists do. The Roadhouse itself offers delicious schnitzels burgers and amazing milkshakes.
While you’re there check out the motorcycling memorabilia. It’s a fun stop. The Big Motorcycle is a must-see attraction. It’s truly a Big Thing.
