This impressive building stands as a testament to that faith. It’s the home of Bibleway Church Of God. The church’s pastor Dr Daniel W Cowans Sr is a remarkable man. He didn’t just arrive in Canada a fully qualified pastor. He worked hard. He trained as a nurse in Jamaica. He migrated to Canada in 1982. He worked as a nurse here too. He pursued his passion for counselling. He earned a Bachelor’s Masters and Doctorate in Christian Counselling. He didn’t stop there. He pursued a PhD in International Mission Counselling.
This relentless pursuit of knowledge is reflected in the Bibleway Church Of God. It’s a place of learning and spiritual growth. It offers more than just Sunday services. Dr Cowans is also the president and founder of the Bibleway Institute of Christian Counselling and Theological Studies. The church is more than just a building. It’s a community. It’s a family built on shared faith and unwavering support. He also serves as an Administrative Assistant to the Presiding Bishop. He leads the Department of Counselling at Resq Youth International.
