For eleven years, they met in lodge halls. Despite limited space, the congregation grew. By 1952, they built a new building. It was at 2600 Minnesota Avenue, SE. The name changed to Southeast Church of Christ.

This congregation supported the formation of other churches. These included Oxon Hill, Winchester, and Waldorf Church of Christ. In 1971, the Southeast Church outgrew its space. They raised funds for a larger building. It was at 3601 Southern Avenue. The membership grew to over 400. They had multiple worship services by 1994.

In 1996, they needed even more space. They built the current structure at 6000 Davis Boulevard. It is in Camp Springs, Maryland. During construction, they worshipped at Suitland High School.

In April 2000, the 28870 square foot building was complete. The name changed to Beltway Church of Christ. This was because of its proximity to the DC-MD-VA Beltway.

The Beltway Church of Christ overcame challenges. It went through periods of growth. They are known for their love. They show benevolence. They have a genuine desire to serve.
