Dedicated to solidarity this Barueri Sculpture stands as a powerful emblem. It represents the spirit of Barueri. Have you noticed its location near the Rodovia Castello Branco? It marks the Km 26 entrance to the city.
The Barueri Sculpture features the bold BARUERI insignia. Each letter stands three meters tall. They contrast with the slender vertical elements supporting two bronze figures. These figures are in a gesture of solidarity. The upper figure extends its arms. It helps the lower one.
These vertical elements are beige travertine colored. They also function as water spouts. The BARUERI insignia is formed from layered pieces of stone wood.
The sculpture’s dimensions are impressive. It is 13.40 meters wide and 8.30 meters high. The Barueri Sculpture was inaugurated in November 1997. This coincided with the reurbanization of the access roundabout to the city.
