Martina Palma, the Barthonia Showroom’s owner, envisioned a unique space. She wanted to fill a gap in Cologne’s event landscape. Palma has over two decades of experience as an event manager. She aimed to create a space that honored tradition.
Imagine events for up to 750 guests within these walls. The Barthonia Showroom hosts diverse occasions. These range from roadshows and product presentations to trade fairs and fashion shows. Tagungen, conferences and corporate events also occur here.
From 1958, this hall was the heart of 4711 perfume production. Now, a subtle fragrance lingers. Bergamot, lemon, and orange notes sometimes arise. Essences from the past production still diffuse from the hall floor. Martina Palma confirms this with a smile.
The Barthonia Showroom offers a pillar-free space. This allows great architectural freedom for event design. The venue is not tied to specific partners. Martina Palma and her team can assist with supplier selection. Clients may also handle catering independently. They can even bring their own furniture.
Modern media technology supports every event. EMP, a technical event service provider, works with the showroom. They supply lighting, sound and multimedia installations.
Barthonia Forum is a large complex. It includes twelve buildings with offices, residences and retail spaces. FREO manages the Forum. They focus on making it a lively mixed-use area. This involves leasing vacant space. They are developing a new retail concept. Redevelopment of the former industrial facility is possible.
