“Sandcastle.” That’s what ‘babka’ means. That’s where the name Babka Tower comes from. Completed in 2001, the Babka Tower stands tall as a testament to modern Warsaw.

The Babka Tower wasn’t always called that. The nearby Radosława Roundabout was once known as Babka Roundabout. In the 1950s, road construction left a big pile of sand there. People started calling it “babka,” like a sandcastle. The name stuck and later transferred to this iconic building.

Standing here at 80 Jana Pawła II Avenue, it’s hard to miss. Babka Tower is more than just a pretty face. Its architectural height reaches 105 meters making it the first residential building in Poland to surpass 100 meters.

JEMS Architekci designed the Babka Tower. Echo Investment brought the vision to life. Construction started in 1998 and finished in 2001. It quickly became a landmark. Until 2004, Babka Tower held the title of tallest residential building in Poland.

The Babka Tower is divided into two distinct sections. A wider, 10-story segment forms the base. Above it rises the central, 28-story tower. Inside, you’ll find 299 luxurious apartments. The lower levels house office and service spaces.

Residents enjoy exclusive amenities. On the tenth floor, there is an indoor swimming pool. Below ground, a four-level car park offers 675 parking spaces. Talk about convenience.

Interestingly, the Babka Tower also houses a monastery. The Dominican Sisters of the Immaculate Conception reside in apartment D13. Also, part of the University of Economics and Human Sciences in Warsaw uses facilities here. It mixes residential, religious, and academic life.

The location of the Babka Tower is excellent. It sits between Al. Jana Pawła and Radosława roundabout. The Dworzec Gdański metro station is nearby. The Westfield Arkadia shopping center is also close.

Inside the Babka Tower, a green patio offers a quiet escape. A water cascade adds to the peaceful atmosphere. The building provides a reception service for residents and guests. A security and monitoring system ensures safety.

Babka Tower remains a prestigious address. Its design and high-quality materials set it apart. It’s not just a building. It’s a symbol of Warsaw’s growth and modernity. A place where history and innovation meet. The Babka Tower stands as a unique blend of residential comfort, commercial activity, and even spiritual sanctuary.
