The Ariake Arena is a multi-sport venue. It is located in Ariake, Koto, Tokyo. Construction on the arena began in January 2017. It finished in December 2019. The total cost was about US$320 million.

Originally, the Ariake Arena was built for the 2020 Summer Olympics. It hosted volleyball games. During the 2020 Summer Paralympics, it was the venue for wheelchair basketball. The arena can hold 15,000 spectators. 12,000 seats are fixed. The rest are temporary.

After the games, Dentsu was granted the right to operate the facility. This agreement lasts until March 2046. The Metropolitan Government receives a fixed amount of money. It gets 9.4 billion yen. That is 376 million yen per year. The government also gets 50% of the pretax profit each year.

The Ariake Arena is used for sports and concerts. In August 2022, it opened as a public facility. Perfume held a concert. It was part of their Plasma Tour. Billie Eilish also performed here. That was during her Happier Than Ever, The World Tour. The B3 League game between Tokyo United and Saitama Broncos was held here too. Charli XCX performed here as well. That was during the Tonal Tokyo Festival.

New Japan Pro-Wrestling and World Wonder Ring Stardom held an event here. It was called Historic X-Over. It was the first pro wrestling event at the venue. Naoya Inoue won the bantamweight undisputed championship here.

The Last Rockstars performed here on their debut tour. Harry Styles also performed here. Usada Pekora held her first solo live concert here. Naoya Inoue won the super bantamweight undisputed championship at Ariake Arena too. ONE Championship’s ONE 165 event took place here. Kylie Minogue will perform here as part of her Tension Tour. Taeyeon will also perform here as part of The Tense tour.
