It represents a commitment to progress and global engagement, all while nestled within the heart of Europe. Interestingly, the Airstrip wasn’t Zurich’s first foray into aviation. Before its construction, the city relied on the Dübendorf airfield, a shared military and civilian facility. However, the burgeoning world of air travel demanded a dedicated space.
