The Advent Lutheran Church is part of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Canada. It is a diverse community. People from many races and walks of life come together here. They worship, baptize, commune, and grow in faith. They do this by putting Christ first.
The church identifies as “reconciling in Christ.” This means that Advent Lutheran Church was the first in the Eastern Synod to welcome everyone. It does not matter who they are.
If you want to experience a service, visit on a Sunday. Most Sundays feature Holy Communion at 10 am. The 5th Sunday of the month is a service of the word. On these Sundays, the congregation chooses hymns to sing. It is a time of community and shared faith.
