Established in 1985, A.D. & F.D. Of Pok Oi Hospital Mrs. Cheng Yam On Millennium School has a rich history. Originally, A.D. & F.D. Of Pok Oi Hospital Mrs. Cheng Yam On Millennium School operated as a morning school with an attached afternoon section. This continued until 1988 when the afternoon school became independent. The school’s motto is “Pok Oi, Love, Practice, Benevolence”. Due to space constraints, the school needed to combine the morning and afternoon sections into a full-day system. This led to a search for a new campus for the afternoon school. In 2001, the school successfully applied for a separate site in So Kwun Wat. By 2003, the new campus was built, and the afternoon school moved to this location. This allowed A.D. & F.D. Of Pok Oi Hospital Mrs. Cheng Yam On Millennium School to become a full-day school at its original site. The relocated afternoon school was renamed A.D. & F.D. of Pok Oi Hospital Mrs. Cheng Yam On Millennium School. The school boasts several notable alumni, including Ip Man-hik, a Hong Kong actor. Also among the alumni are Yip Man-chun, MH, a director of Pacific Coffee and district council member. Florica Lin, a Hong Kong political figure, is another prominent former student.
