From a seed of education planted in 1925, Edogawa City Komatsugawa Second Junior High School blossomed. This school, right before us, has witnessed a fascinating evolution over the decades. Initially, it was part of the Tokyo Metropolitan Seventh Girls’ New System High School, catering only to girls. The school moved to its current location in Komatsugawa in 1985. The previous site, in Hirai, now houses the night school. Edogawa City Komatsugawa Second Junior High School has always adapted to the changing times. In its early days, nestled within the girls’ high school, it offered a simple wooden structure for learning. As the school grew, so did its buildings, expanding from just over 2,000 square meters to the impressive structure we see today, covering over 13,000 square meters. This growth reflects the school’s commitment to nurturing young minds. The school’s history is etched in its walls. From the gymnasium’s completion in 1934 to the construction of new school buildings and the addition of a computer room, each brick tells a story. Today, Edogawa City Komatsugawa Second Junior High School stands as a testament to the power of education and community, preparing students for the future while honoring its rich past. Look closely, and you might just hear the echoes of generations of students who walked these halls before you. They learned, laughed, and grew within these very walls. Edogawa City Komatsugawa Second Junior High School continues to be a vibrant hub of learning, a testament to its enduring legacy in the heart of Edogawa.
