The Immanuel Matsudo Christ Church originally began in 1985. It held its meetings near Yatsu Station. Today, the church is conveniently located near Sakuranomiya Station. Immanuel Matsudo Christ Church welcomes everyone. The church resumed its two-part services on October 3, 2021, after the state of emergency declaration was lifted. The Immanuel Matsudo Christ Church isn’t the only Christian institution in Matsudo. Another church, the Catholic Matsudo Church, is located at 1126 Matsudo, Matsudo City, Chiba Prefecture. This Catholic church boasts a long history in the region. It’s about an 8-minute walk from the east exit of Matsudo Station. The Catholic Matsudo Church is a three-story white building, situated against a backdrop of lush greenery. They have a parking lot with space for approximately 10 cars on weekdays and 25 cars on weekends. The church offers various services, including weekday mass at 7:30 AM, Sunday mass at 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM, and a Saturday evening mass at 7:30 PM. They have a thriving community with around 1700 members, including about 200 foreign nationals.
