“Spacious grounds for club activities” is what they say about Tokyo Keizai University Musashimurayama Campus. Today we will explore this campus together. It is one of two campuses of Tokyo Keizai University. The other is the Kokubunji Campus.
Tokyo Keizai University was founded in 1900. Okura Kihachiro was the founder. It became a university in 1949.
The Musashimurayama Campus offers extensive facilities. These support various student activities. You will find athletic fields. There is a 400m track. A baseball field awaits. Also find soccer fields and tennis courts. There are nine tennis courts. Two futsal courts are here as well.
Indoor facilities include gymnasiums. One hall can accommodate basketball. It can be used for volleyball or badminton. There are indoor training areas. One area has twelve table tennis tables.
Students can reside in the student hall. A martial arts hall supports Kendo and Judo. There is also archery. A training house offers accommodation. Clubhouses are available too.
The campus area covers 79,541.05 square meters. Buildings occupy 12,722.96 square meters. Here you find classrooms and research labs. There is also a training room and a PC study room. Management and administrative offices are located here. A medical room is available.
The Musashimurayama Campus is accessible by bus. Buses run from JR Tachikawa Station. Get off at the “Shin Hokkaido” bus stop. From there, walk north. Turn right at the “Kashi” intersection. You will see the university sign.
Another option is a bus from Tamagawa-Josui Station. Get off at the “Tokyo Keidai Entrance” stop. Walk west to the entrance. Look for the blue “Tokyo Keizai University” sign. Please note that car parking is limited. The university encourages public transport. Especially during events, avoid driving here. The university is not responsible for accidents on site.
