Instead, it houses Matsudo Daiichi Junior High School – Mirai Bunko, an evening school offering a second chance at education. Imagine the halls, once filled with the energy of young children, now welcoming students of all ages seeking to complete their junior high education. Mirai Bunko, meaning “future branch school,” offers classes five days a week, approximately 200 days a year. Dedicated teachers guide students through the junior high curriculum, helping them earn their diplomas. Remarkably, tuition is free, making education accessible to all. Here, within the walls of the old Kogasakiminami Elementary School, students are rewriting their futures. They are proof that it’s never too late to learn and grow.
