“Could you imagine students walking these halls since 1978?” That’s when \u5e02\u7acb\u7acb\u5ddd\u7b2c\u4e03\u4e2d\u5b66\u6821 was established. It is a municipal junior high school. It is located in Tachikawa City Tokyo.
\u5e02\u7acb\u7acb\u5ddd\u7b2c\u4e03\u4e2d\u5b66\u6821 sits along Akigawa River. It is an 11-minute walk from Nishi-Tachikawa Station. This station is on the Seibu Haijima Line. The school has a large campus. It is in a quiet residential area. There are still many fields around it.
Let’s talk about the school’s history. The school was originally planned as Tachikawa City Nishi-Sunagawa Junior High School. The groundbreaking ceremony took place in 1976. In April 1978 Tachikawa City Tachikawa Seventh Junior High School was established. The first principal was Takezo Seki.
The school building was completed in 1978. It had four floors with 17 classrooms. There were also 10 special classrooms. The first entrance ceremony and opening ceremony were held. There were 194 new first-year students. There were also 160 second-year students and 130 third-year students.
The school has a song. It has lyrics by Koutaro Shimpo and composition by Kiyohide Takashima.
The school has gone through several changes. In 1982, three more classrooms were added. In 1985, eight more classrooms were built. In 1990 the schoolyard was expanded.
