Did you know the school was established in 1986? That was Showa year 61. The first students numbered 264. They were divided into six classes. There were 17 faculty members.
In 1988, Ichikawa City Myoden Junior High School moved. The new location was in Myoden. This is where the school stands today.
Ichikawa City Myoden Junior High School has won national awards. In 1991, the school won a handball competition. It was the 8th All-Japan Junior High School Goodwill Handball Exchange Tournament. In 1994, the school placed third. This was at the 11th All-Japan Junior High School Goodwill Handball Exchange Tournament.
Many annual events occur here. There is an entrance ceremony. There is also a student orientation. A sports festival is held annually. Student council meetings occur regularly.

Swingin’ Herd Orchestra. These were selected members of the wind orchestra. Eric Miyashiro played the trumpet. Yoshiaki Yoshida conducted. The Myoden Symphonic Wind Ensemble was also featured.
