In 1977, Kawasaki City established the Nagasawa Junior High School. Boys wear black gakuran, a student uniform with a Prussian collar. Girls wear sailor-style uniforms. In the winter, the girls’ uniform is navy blue, while the summer uniform is white. A subtle detail: the ribbon on the girls’ sailor uniform is white. The tie for the sailor uniform is navy blue. These seemingly small details are important parts of the school’s identity.
