Kodaira Shiritsu Kodayara Elementary School is a public elementary school in Kodaira City. It is located in Tokyo. The school opened its doors on April 1 1980. That was Showa year 55.

Kodaira Shiritsu Kodayara Elementary School cares about its students’ safety. In 2004 the pool was renovated. This included new showers and flooring. In 2009 earthquake-resistant reinforcement was added. The school building and gymnasium were renovated too.
The school celebrated its thirtieth anniversary in 2010. A commemorative ceremony marked the occasion. From 2014 to 2017 the school promoted the Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics.
Kodaira Shiritsu Kodayara Elementary School even has its own mascot since 2017. In 2019 the school celebrated its fortieth anniversary. A special anniversary event included a ceremony a gathering and a song.
During the COVID-19 pandemic the school temporarily closed. It reopened on June 15 2020. The school focuses on four educational goals. These are healthy children considerate children resilient children and joyful children.
