“Did you know that ELSA TOWER 32 has a sister?” I ask. Not a literal sister of course. I mean ELSA TOWER 55. They were part of a joint development project by Daikyo.

ELSA TOWER 32 is a towering apartment building in Kawaguchi City. It stands tall with 32 floors above ground. One floor is below ground. Two more are in the tower roof. Completed in 2002, it has 389 apartments. This provides homes to many residents.

Before ELSA TOWER 32 existed, the area was home to a factory. It was the Japanese Piston Ring Kawaguchi Factory. Daikyo bought the land. They planned a large-scale redevelopment. This included ELSA TOWER 55. ELSA TOWER 32 came later.

The location is near the border of Tokyo. Access to the city is easy. The Saitama Rapid Railway Line opened in 2001. Kawaguchi Motogō Station is the nearest station. Because of this easy access, the tower was marketed. It was sold with the phrase “Here is Tokyo Ward 24”.

The tower has unique construction. It uses the precast concrete method. This ensures stable quality regardless of weather. The building site was large. So, they produced the precast concrete on-site. This reduced costs. It improved quality compared to typical methods.

Kajima Construction developed the HiRC method. This method uses high-strength rebar and concrete. It makes the columns and beams strong. This allows for flexible layouts. It also helps the building absorb earthquake energy.

ELSA TOWER 32 has several amenities. There is a mechanical parking lot for 130 cars. A coin-operated parking lot is available for visitors. A main lounge with a Japanese garden is on the first floor. Also on the first floor is a spray fountain plaza. The second floor has a sun lounge. There is also a garden with barbecue space.

Security is a priority at ELSA TOWER 32. The entrances have contactless auto-lock systems. Secocom provides 24-hour security. Security personnel are always on duty. They respond to emergencies. These include toilet alarms. They also handle intercom notifications.

ELSA TOWER 32 has an owners association. They organize disaster prevention events. These events include the ELSA 32 Disaster Prevention Festa. They also host ELSA 32 Disaster Prevention Rallies.

Compared to ELSA TOWER 55, ELSA TOWER 32 is more streamlined. It lacks some of the amenities of its older sister. This results in lower management fees. All windows in ELSA TOWER 32 can open unlike in ELSA TOWER 55. ELSA TOWER 32 has carports which ELSA TOWER 55 lacks.

ELSA TOWER 32 is more than just a building. It is a community. It combines urban convenience with a comfortable environment. It stands as a landmark in Kawaguchi City. A testament to modern living.
