\u307f\u305f\u304b\u4e95\u5fc3\u4ead stands as a testament to community and culture. Mitaka City built Ishin-tei in 1988. This followed a generous land donation in 1983. The public chose the facility’s meaningful name. It reflects the donor’s spirit and hopes for thriving cultural activities like a wellspring.
Imagine stepping inside \u307f\u305f\u304b\u4e95\u5fc3\u4ead. You will discover a large hall. It features a mizuya or water stall. Booths accommodate full tea ceremonies. The building is designed in the sukiya style.
\u307f\u305f\u304b\u4e95\u5fc3\u4ead serves as a vibrant hub. People engage in traditional Japanese arts. Think tea ceremonies flower arranging and singing. It is a place for community building.
Notably tea utensils are available free. This applies in the tea room. You can rent them for a fee in the Minami-zashiki and Dai-hall.
