Now, the church stands at 2717 W. Hillsborough Ave. in Tampa. It is a welcoming place for all. West Hillsborough Baptist Church’s mission is to be devoted to Jesus. They open their arms to those seeking truth. The church shows God’s love through charity. They listen and love their community. West Hillsborough Baptist Church aims to walk in the footsteps of Jesus Christ.
The church offers many services. Sunday school starts at 9:30 a.m. A worship service follows at 10:45 a.m. On Wednesdays, there is Bible study at 6:15 p.m. Choir practice is at 7 p.m. A Friday morning service is held at 10 a.m. There are also several groups for men and women.
West Hillsborough Baptist Church also has a community outreach program. The Lord’s Heritage Mission Closet provides free food and clothing. It is open every Tuesday from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. This shows their commitment to the community.
Several people lead West Hillsborough Baptist Church. Charles Faust, David R. Curty and Derek Howard serve as trustees. The church provides a home away from home. They hope you will join them. They want you to live for your heavenly home with Jesus Christ.
