It was founded in 2000, offering a four-year Bachelor of Pharmacy program. At first, the University of Pharmacy, Mandalay was just a small institute, but it quickly grew and in 2006 it became a fully-fledged University. In the first graduation ceremony, 73 graduates received their B. Pharm degree. Today the number of graduates has increased significantly, reaching up to 1590 in just 18 years, with 34 M.
