King Tin Gorge awaits us after a trek through the rugged south slope. Our journey begins near Wisdom Path. We ascend stone steps uphill known as Sky Ladder. We pass the Inverted Bowl Cliff. Then we arrive at Tsam Chai Au.
From Tsam Chai Au, we carefully navigate beyond a warning notice. We descend past Bird Rock and Phoenix Pecking Valley. Blade Rock stands tall before us. Continuing on, we encounter Cartoon Mouse Rock. It resembles a mouse looking skyward.
We then head towards Twin Mouses Path. This path descends sharply through the woods. Soon, we reach Fung Tong Stream. Large stones dot the path. Here, we must deviate from the main trail. We climb up along the stone stream. Ribbons guide our way.
The stream narrows like a rocky gate. As we ascend, the gorge widens slightly. An echo answers if you speak. We are now nested in the escarpment of King Tin Gorge. It is a spectacular sight. The origin of the stream is here.
Looking back to the right, the second mouse can be seen. It is a large rocky tower. Its conical top resembles a mouse gazing skyward.
