Established in 1978, Sunnyhose in Tai Po, Hong Kong, isn’t just a factory. It’s a testament to Hong Kong’s innovative spirit. Sunnyhose itself began much earlier, in 1958. The company’s unique “one-piece molding” technology revolutionized hose manufacturing. This innovative approach created hoses with unparalleled performance and versatility, far exceeding conventional rubber hoses. Think about the impact. A simple hose, transformed through ingenuity. This innovation carved out a whole new market. Sunnyhose didn’t stop there. They continued to refine their craft, developing high-quality lay flat hoses made of PVC and chemical fiber. These hoses form the foundation of their current product line. Located in the Tai Po Industrial Estate on Dai Li Street, Sunnyhose boasts a workforce of 51-100 employees. Their annual production capacity is a staggering 20,000,000 meters of hose. Imagine the sheer volume. Fourteen machines churn out PVC layflat water discharge hoses non-stop, year-round, except for Chinese New Year. Sunnyhose produces five distinct brands: Sunnyhose, Sunny Bright, Hi-Sunnyhose, and Heavy Duty Sunnyhose. From its beginnings in 1958 to its current state-of-the-art facility, Sunnyhose embodies Hong Kong’s spirit of innovation and global vision. It’s a reminder that even something as commonplace as a hose can become a symbol of progress and quality.
