Yet the spirit of Okano Hikawa Shrine endured. The people of Nakano rebuilt their shrine. Their dedication and passion resurrected Okano Hikawa Shrine from the rubble. In 1955 it reopened its doors. It stood as a symbol of hope and resilience. Nearly seventy years later Okano Hikawa Shrine thrives.
