Imagine stepping into a realm where stories take flight. This is the Hikosen Theater. It opened its doors in the spring of 2022. But the story of the Hikosen Theater began much earlier.
Originally, this space was known as the Ueno Gakuen Ishibashi Memorial Hall. It was established in 1974. The hall served as a lecture space for Ueno Gakuen.
Now, as the Hikosen Theater, it continues to host various events. You can find the Hikosen Theater at 4-24-11 Higashiueno, Taito-ku. Getting here is quite easy. From Ueno Station, it is an 8-minute walk.
Inside, the Hikosen Theater has a seating capacity of 508. The first floor has 430 seats. This includes 2 wheelchair spaces. The second floor adds 78 more seats.
The Hikosen Theater is not just a space. It is a place for performances and events. In fact, on March 12, 2024, there was a Bushiroad contract explanation meeting here. The Hikosen Theater also hosted a 777SISTERS special talk on February 19, 2025. Several performers took the stage for this event.
Please note that there is no parking available. It is recommended to use public transport.
So, next time you are seeking an immersive experience, remember the Hikosen Theater. It is where stories take flight and memories are made.
