Translation services are provided. There are also dedicated programs for children and youth. The evening service at 5:30 pm offers a smaller, more relaxed atmosphere. It’s followed by a free community dinner. Throughout the week, Macquarie Baptist Church bustles with activity. Kids from toddlers to year 8 enjoy fun, interactive learning during MBC Kids on Sundays. Wednesday Playtime provides a space for children under 5 and their caregivers to connect. High school students gather for Sycamore, the Friday youth group, with its “chilled vibes” and focus on God’s word. Macquarie Baptist Church also extends its hand to the wider community. Free conversational English classes are offered on Monday mornings during the school term. These classes provide a welcoming environment for those new to Australia. Various small groups, called Growth Groups, meet throughout the week for fellowship and spiritual growth. Macquarie Baptist Church calls the Morling College campus home. You’ll find it nestled at the end of Saunders Close. Due to ongoing site developments, parking may be at Baptist Care, off Balaclava Road. From there, a short walk leads you to the church.
