Each week hundreds of brothers and sisters visit Masjidur Rahmah. They come to perform the five daily prayers. The congregational Friday prayer is also a popular event. The masjid also hosts Madrassah-tut-Tarbiyah. This supports a full-time Hifz class. Evening and weekend classes are also available. The masjid hosts community events. These programs occur weekly, monthly, and yearly. They are for both youth and adults.

Masjidur Rahmah serves the needs of Muslims in the Greater Toronto Area. It helps them fulfill their Islamic duties. It also caters to their spiritual needs. Before Masjidur Rahmah existed, the property was commercial and residential. In 2012, the property was purchased for the Central Toronto Islamic Foundation. This marked a new era for the Regent Park Muslim community. The Muslim community generously donated funds for the project.

The vision of Masjidur Rahmah is clear. It seeks to establish a permanent Islamic presence in downtown Toronto. This includes facilities to meet the religious needs of Muslims and non-Muslims alike. It also addresses social and intellectual needs.
