Explorers’ Landing has the spirit of S.E.A. This is the Society of Explorers and Adventurers. This society embodies adventure, romance, discovery and innovation. Founded August 12th, 1538, S.E.A.’s story is woven into every corner of this fortress.
The attraction features a 15th-century fortress. It is dedicated to the golden age of exploration. Inside, optical illusions challenge your perceptions. Model galleons sail on a liquid map. A model of DaVinci’s flying machine inspires awe. It is one of the most detailed walkthrough attractions in the world. Think of a super-detailed Swiss Family Treehouse.
Three Imagineers shaped Explorers’ Landing. Wes Cook, Phillip Freer, and Dan Gooze created amazing concept artwork. Sketches reveal their vision for the galleon’s construction.
The citadel comprises eleven rooms. A full-size galleon is moored outside. Three restaurants offer refreshment. They include Magellanes, Magallanes Lounge and Refrescos.
